DIY Wine - Home Edition

For a local supplier (Elkhart, Indiana) of equipment and instruction needed to create your own wines (and/or beers), Quality Wine and Ale Supply is a superb company. They have some great resources for the novice and expert home brewer. The site also has some contact info for a people to help you with questions.

    That just seems like it would make nasty wine... or at least extremely alcoholic, but I don't know a whole lot about homebrewing.

    I'd say bah about poisoning yourself. People do it with commercial vodka on college campuses all the time... at the most you'll end up drinking vinegar and will probably stop before it's too late.
